Therapy for Children, Adolescents, and Adults

I am passionate about providing support and evidence-based treatment to young people.  I also take great pleasure in partnering with adults to support them in achieving their goals. My focus is on helping clients navigate challenges, build resilience, and create a life that brings them fulfillment and satisfaction. I am deeply committed to fostering a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where we can work together toward meaningful progress.

I utilize a variety of therapy approaches and practices that are grounded in research. In my work with my clients, I draw from my extensive experience with cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) while also integrating elements of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness to support their growth.  In all of my therapeutic work, I prioritize collaboration with clients and their parents (if a minor) to identify clear goals and create tailored treatment plans.

I have considerable training and experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults who are struggling with anxiety and anxiety-related issues.  While I work directly with children (age 12+), teens, and adults, I have found great success helping younger children with anxiety using Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), which involves working directly with parents to decrease their child's anxiety, OCD, or related challenges.  I also enjoy assisting parents who are looking to strengthen family connections, enhance cooperation and communication, and reduce conflict within their homes.  Finally, I am an ally to the LGBTQ+ community.
